Very pleased with this little vacuum - well made, effective unit. Just right re performance, portability, price for a 800 sq foot carpeted and tiled office which requires light cleaning. Experienced, bright, perfectionist cleaning woman likes it. Should be good to vacuum car.

My HOME is mainly hardwoods, and this is absolutely perfect light vacuuming for this environment. It also works well on curtains, place mats, and floor boards. The suction isn't ultra high power, for a price like this I don't think many will be expecting this type of extreme performance.

The telescoping wand extended to its longest setting gives the vacuum enough height for me to comfortably use it (I'm 5'5"), but is too short for my 5'8" husband. The manufacturer needs to think a little more about consistency of quality. The wand or tube that connects the flexible hose to the suction head is heavy stainless steel, perfectly engineered to have an internal extension.

As others have noted, it's only flaws are a shortish cord and rather short tube, making vacuuming position a little uncomfortable for taller folks. Not that great on pile rugs, but is perfect for bare floors and low pile carpet.
